Special assemblies are organized at Pre-primary, Primary and Senior levels to celebrate special days and festivals. The school curriculum aims at instilling national pride and secular beliefs amongst students through such celebrations and activities like Holi, Guru Purab, Dusssehra, Diwali, Id, Environment Day, Children’s Day, Teachers Day, Sadbhavana Diwas and National Integration Day etc.
The Investiture Ceremony is held every year to induct the Students Council, House Prefects and members of the various committees. The members of the council led by a Head Boy and aHead Girl (Senior & Primary) are responsible for maintaining discipline, organising and supervising a multitude of activities including sports and co-curricular and ensuring the smooth conduct of school functions and ceremonies. The Head Boy and Head Girl are bestowed with crystal mementoes. The Captains and Vice Captains of the four Houses – Aravalli, Meghalaya, Nilgiri and Shivalik are responsible for organizing smooth conduct of Inter-House competitions.
We take pride in acknowledging the academic excellence attained by meritorious students. A student attaining examination results above 85%(with a minimum of 80% in all the subjects), qualifies as a Scholar Badge Holder. Those who are awarded three Scholar Badges consecutively are awarded a Scholar Blazer at a formal Awards Ceremony wherein distinguished guests are invited to present badges, blazers and certificates.
Orientation Programmes for parents (class and age applicable) are regularly held to update and orient them with the school curriculum, pedagogy, facilities offered, subject options and career options suitable for science, commerce and humanities stream. They are conducted by an expert panel (as applicable) comprising of Principal, Headmistress, School Counsellors, Visiting Counsellors, Pediatrician and Nutritionist.
The human brain consists of the Left Brain (also referred to as the Scientific Brain) and the Right Brain (also referred to as the Creative Brain). To ensure the development of both sides of the brain of any child, one requires a multidisciplinary approach which engages students in creative and scientific tasks. Every year, we at The Khaitan School, organises a Science & Arts Exhibition which ensures the involvement of every child from Nursery to Class XII. To assist them, all teachers from all disciplines of music, art, craft, dance, languages, general science, environmental sciences, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, technology, maths, political science and more, ensure wholehearted support for a successful display of their academic and co-scholastic understanding of present day issues and futuristic possibilities of human endeavours. Students work tirelessly, attained in-depth knowledge and showcase innovative and brilliant projects and working models meticulously put together after undertaking intensive research work. The Pre-Primary wing celebrated Grand Parent’s Day during the winter months, every year. Children help with decoration of their corridors and classrooms and welcome their elders to the respective classrooms themselves. The little ones get to spend mesmerizing moments with their grandparents in an environment that is very different from home. Children are explained the importance of special relationships and are taught to express gratitude by making ‘Thank You Cards’. A special programme is also organized in the school auditorium which usually includes dances, music, games and light refreshments.
Keeping in mind the multidisciplinary approach of teaching-learning, we celebrate a ‘Literary Week’ every year to widen vistas of communication in the languages of English, Hindi, Sanskrit and French. This event helps in exploring the world of literature through literary activities as it compels students to open their minds to the amazing kaleidoscope of literature, a virtue fast depleting in today’s world.

In an endeavor to make this as an inclusive event, we also have categories for students with special needs. Topics in past have included unity, peace, Fit India, Clean ‘n’ Green India, Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th Birth Anniversary amongst others, suiting the age and category of participants.
The idea behind this event is to give a platform to young artists to showcase their talent, learn from each other, increase community partnerships and pay special impetus to the creative arts which is an equally important aspect of school education as academics is.
Started in 2010, this is one event which is planned every year by students and almost fully conducted by them with basic guidance and mentoring by teachers. Hosting an event requires meticulous planning, teamwork, execution, liasioning and provides a hands-on experience of what the real world is like. This event is one of the most awaited events of the year with hundreds of students from the top schools of Noida and the NCR region participating every year which includes schools like Lotus Valley School, JBM Global School Noida, Bal Bharti Public School, Delhi Public School, Amity School, Vishwa Bharti School, Apeejay School and many more.
The Alma Mater of any institution is its pride and a testimony of its contribution in nation-building. We are proud of our over 1400 students who have graduated (till 2020) and have been contributing to the nation in all walks of life. Our alumni have gone on to colleges and universities such as BITS Pilani, Imperial College London, Vellore Institute of Technology, University of Hong Kong, Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, Manipal University, Mangalore University and other such prestigious institutions. They have further gone on to fulfilling and rewarding careers such as medicine, law, engineering, art, fashion, business, architecture, teaching and more.
As a gesture of love and affection, the teachers of The Khaitan School invite the alumni members every year for an informal interactive session with music and fun filled activities to relive their school days and share their experiences of life. It’s also a great way for old friends to meet at their school campus, which is always very nostalgic.
The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) is an organisation with an aim of enriching and suplementing formal education by increasing awareness about different aspects of our Indian heritage. It seeks to inspire our youth through hands-on experiences of the rich cultural repository of Indian and World Heritage. Such exposure ensures that the wisdom passed on through these art forms influences the way of life and inspires one to become a better human being. In order to achieve its aim, SPIC MACAY engsges with only the most accomplished artistes of the country to render programmes of Indian classical music and dance, folk, poetry, theatre, traditional paintings, crafts & yog primarily in schools and colleges.
