The curriculum is designed and packaged in a manner that challenges students to ask questions, enhance skills, conduct in-depth research, analyse findings, build conceptual understanding, share their learning in a variety of ways that reflect on their responsibility as a part of global community. Each child is supported to discover and fulfil his/her unique potential with a balanced, student friendly programme that nurtures the whole individual – mind, body and soul.
We design the curriculum broadly on the guidelines issued by C.B.S.E from time to time. Importance is given to Scholastic as well as Co-Scholastic domains with plans including mapping units with pedagogical objectives, assessment directives and feedback rubrics.
PART – 1
It consists of the evaluation of Scholastic attainments which are reflected in the Performance Sheet in the form of Marks and Grades (8 point grading).
There are two terms, the first term is from April-Sept. and the second term is from October to March. Each term has a 50% weightage.
The assessment process has two aspects: Internal assessments which are continuous assessment process and Terminal assessments conducted once in each term.
Continuous assessment in the form of
The portfolio is assessed and compiled by the subject teachers in each term.
For Languages: Activities conducted for subject enrichment in Languages would aim at equipping the learner to develop effective Speaking and Listening Skills (ASL)
For Mathematics: The listed Lab Activities and projects are conducted as per CBSE guidelines.
For Science: The listed Practical works/research in place of activities are conducted as per CBSE guidelines.
For Social Science: Map, research and project are undertaken as per CBSE guidelines.

Part – 2
Co-Scholastic Areas: Our school promotes Co-curricular activities for the holistic development of the student. These will be graded on a 3-point grading scale (A to C) and will be as follows :
a) Work Experience: It is aimed to help students to participate in Social, Economic and Welfare Activities and make them self-reliant.
– Hobby Clubs ( Hunar Clubs)
b) Art Education – Students are graded for :
– Performing Art (Music/Dance/ Theatre)
– Visual Art (Painting/ Pottery)
c) Health & Physical Education – To create a sense of Physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, patriotism and health care. Students are graded for:
– Sports Activity (one option per Term from a range of options)
– Physical Education
– Yoga / Taekwondo
Part -3
Discipline – (Attendance, Sincerity, Behaviour & Values)
Discipline impacts career shaping and helps build character, sincerity, good behaviour and values, develops strength and foster unity and cooperation.
The class teacher in consultation with subject teachers, grades the students on a three-point scale (A-C).
Assessment is an ongoing everyday process in the school. We strictly follow the CBSE model of assessments. At the same time, we believe that examination is not an end in itself. We don’t believe in the theory of ‘ Learning for Assessment”, but in “Assessment for Learning.” Our Assessment policy is listed below:
Part – 1

a) Work Experience: It is aimed to help students to participate in Social, Economic and Welfare Activities and make them self-reliant.
– Hunar Club– No of options are given, students has to select any one according to their choice and other criteria.
b) Art Education – Students are graded for :– Performing Art (Music/Dance/ Theatre)
– Visual Art (Painting)
c) Health & Physical Education – To create a sense of Physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, patriotism and health care. Students are graded for :
– Sports Activity (one option per Term from a range of options)
– Health and Fitness(Yoga)
– SEWA(Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action)
Part -3
Discipline – (Attendance, Sincerity, Behavior & Values)
Discipline impacts career shaping and helps build character, sincerity, good behaviour and values develop strength and foster unity and cooperation.
Class teachers/Subject teachers / Counsellor inculcate Life Skills and Value Education and grade the students on a five-point scale (A-E).
For Class XI
For the holistic development of a student, besides Scholastic, Co-Scholastic areas are also assessed and grades are given accordingly.
For Class XII-
According to CBSE,regularity in attendance and work is imperative.
