Doctor’s Day is celebrated on July 1st all across India to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.
To mark National Doctor’s Day, students at the Khaitan School, Noida expressed their gratitude towards doctors for their selfless services especially during the current Covid pandemic. They celebrated the day by getting to know about the life of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy, who has his birth and death anniversary on the same day. They were shown a video highlighting the contributions of the medical fraternity to the society. These contributions were a salute to the doctors working in the forefront amid the sheer horrors of the pandemic.
They participated in an online interactive session wherein the parents from the medical profession were asked to share their real life experiences and inspire the students. The students were then asked to talk about the qualities of doctors that inspire them. They also shared various healthy habits that should be followed.
