A workshop on tie and dye printing technique was organized for the students of Class VI to VIII on 21st June, 2021. This workshop was a part of the Visual and Performing Arts week celebration. It was conducted by Ms. Parul Bhagat, a NIFT alumni and an acclaimed textile designer. The students were apprised of the origin and history of tie and dye printing in India. She demonstrated the technique and involved the students in an immersive hands-on activity session. Students were able to create beautiful effects on a cotton cloth and made vibrant patterns using the tie and dye technique. They thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and were able to express their creativity through the myriad hues of colour.
